Emma and Levi’s October wedding had all of the things you’d expect of a beautiful fall wedding. What made it all the more wonderful, however, was the deliberate effort by the bride and groom to ensure their wedding day reflected who they are and what they love. My favorite of these moments was the reading of the letter which Emma wrote to Levi at the very beginning of their dating relationship, simply because she knew he was going to be her husband one day. Emma’s sister also performed a surprise song for their mom. And at different times of the day, Emma wore the hat that she loves so much. And truly the sheer size of their wedding party was a testament to the important role that friendships play in their lives. It was tender and intimate and lovely. Well done, my friends.
